Overview
Folio by c3 is a subscription-based SaaS service operated by Code3 (Železnička 14, 22320 Inđija, Serbia). Billing is processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. This policy explains how refunds work for paid subscriptions.
Free Trial
All accounts receive a 3-month free trial with no credit card required. You will not be charged anything during the trial period. If you cancel before or during the trial, no payment is due.
Subscription Payments
When you subscribe to a paid plan, you are charged in advance for the billing period (monthly or annual). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings → Subscription section of the app. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription will not renew at the next billing date
- You retain full access to the Service until the end of your current paid period
- No partial refund is issued for the remaining days in the current period
Refunds
As a general policy, we do not offer refunds for subscription payments that have already been charged. This applies to both monthly and annual plans.
Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis in the following situations:
- You were charged due to a billing error on our part
- You were charged after clearly cancelling your subscription
- You experienced a significant service outage or data loss caused by us
- Applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction requires a refund
Annual Plan
Annual subscriptions offer a discount over monthly billing. Given the discounted price, refunds for annual plans are generally not provided after the first 14 days of the billing period. Within 14 days of an annual charge, you may request a full refund if you have not used the Service during that period.
How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are entitled to a refund under one of the exceptions above, contact us within 30 days of the charge, providing:
- Your registered email address
- The date and approximate amount of the charge
- The reason for your refund request
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 business days.
Processing
Approved refunds are processed through Paddle and typically appear on your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
